…as time goes by…

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

You must remember this
A kiss is still a kiss
A sigh is still (just) a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by

And when two lovers woo
They still say: "i love you"
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by

Moonlight and love songs - never out of date
Hearts full of passion - jealousy and hate
Woman needs man - and man must have his mate
That no one can deny

It’s still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by

the world i know…

collective soul

—————–

Has our conscience shown?
Has the sweet breeze blown?
Has all the kindness gone?
Hope still lingers on.
I drink myself of newfound pity,
Sitting alone in new york city
And I don’t know why…..

Are we listening to hyms of offering?
Have we eyes to see that love is gathering?
All the words that I’ve been reading,
Have now started the act of bleeding into one.

So I walk up on high
And I step to the edge
To see my world below.
And I laugh at myself
As the tears roll down…
’cause it’s the world I know.
It’s the world I know.

…i truly believe that whatever goes around always comes around…

…i hope and pray things will be ok soon… ok… ok… ok… ok… ok…

…GOD HELP ME & THE REST OF MY FAMILY…PUT US ALL BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.

I………BEG………YOU……………………………………………………………

c’est la vie ;(

LAST GOODBYE

By: Jeff Buckely

This is our last goodbye
I hate to feel the love between us die.
But it’s over
Just hear this and then I’ll go
You gave me more to live for,
More than you’ll ever know.

This is our last embrace,
must I dream and always see your face?
Why can’t we overcome this wall?
Baby, maybe it is just because I didn’t know you at all.

Kiss me, please, Kiss me
But kiss me out of desire, babe, and not consolation
Oh, you know, it makes me so angry ’cause I know that in time
I will only make you cry, this is our last goodbye.

Did you say "no, this can’t happen to me,"
And did you rush to the phone to call?
Was there a voice unkind in the back of your mind saying,
"maybe… you didn’t know him at all."

Well, the bells out in the church tower chime
Burning clues into this heart of mine
Thinking so hard on her soft eyes and the memory
Of her sighs that, "it’s over… it’s over…"

Love is… is what I got…. I say rememebr that.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.
But the greatest of these is LOVE.

ROBERT FROST

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
